Family Consultations to support you and/or your family, to reduce anxiety for all.

  • From my base here in Cornwall, England, I'm able to reach any family or individual, via any format you feel most comfortable with. (Zoom, Teams, Skype, Facebook etc), and upon any device (Telephone, mobile, tablet, computer and more). Feel free to get in touch.

  • I am not a trained councillor or therapist. I use my professional experience and personal insight when consulting with individuals, families and organisations. All of our Consults are confidential and they are security protected. Please see my policies on the contact page for more information.

  • Please let me know of preferred communication methods, how to address you and any sensory or other trigger issues you may have. If we are using video, please ensure you are well lit, and that background noise is kept to a minimum.

  • I will do my best to use any preferred communication method you prefer. I have experience of several different Alternative and Augmentative Communication methods and are happy to use them.

  • We will arrange an initial discussion, so I can listen to you, discuss your thoughts, needs and then decide upon how we can progress.

  • A plan of action/timetable will be agreed, costs discussed, (I normally invoice after each session), and we will begin. (I charge £40.00 for an initial Consultation and £60.00 per hour therafter).

  • I'm hold a full DBS Certificate. (Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate-Update Service UK).

  • Any consultation work to be engaged with individuals under 18 years old will be fully discussed with parents/guardians in the first instance, and they will be always present during the interaction. Zoom Consults will also be recorded.

  • I am happy to work (and often do), alongside other involved professionals and individuals.

  • At each point of our contact, you can get in touch at anytime and I'll respond as soon as I'm able. We will continually review progress, and can meet regularly.

Exploring Autistic Identity

If you are exploring Autistic/Neurodivergent identity, please see my page here, "Are You Neurodivergent?"

Please note, these online checklists are NOT professional assessments. These are a guide only, and do not indicate a formal assessment. They are to be used to support your present thoughts, personal insight and to help you on your journey.

Some of the terms used are not indicative of current Autistic understanding, as noted, these checklists are all freely available online

Post Diagnostic/Self identification support

The  journey after diagnosis or self identification can be extremely over whelming.

As Neurodivergent individual I offer input and guidance to support all during this complex time. Discussing your thoughts at this part of the journey, mentoring and signposting. It is vitally important that you are signposted to Neurodivergent groups, publications and resources, this can make such a positive difference.
